The Cyclone Festival of Cycling was created in 2007 to encourage as many people as possible to get out on their bikes, get fitter and enjoy the countryside over a summer weekend in beautiful Northumberland. With a variety of distances to suit all abilities and ages, there really isn’t a better way to test your fitness and raise money for our wonderful Newcastle Hospitals; whilst having a fantastic day out with friends and fellow cyclists. So, weather you are drawn to the challenge of the significant climbs on the longer routes; including the remoteness of Winters Gibbet, the triple ramps of the Ryals and the unrivalled views of Bilsmoor or would prefer a more leisurely scenic ride with a planned cake stop at the Village Hall café; there really is a route for you. All you need to do, is set up your fundraising page, pack your water bottle and puncture repair kit and off you go!
